Olaf and Olga's research (NL)

Bring out the detective talent in your students with an exciting story. Starring: Olaf and Olga. They are the best detectives you can find. Even better, there is not a single experiment in Technopolis that they do not already know about. But... they are getting older and are looking for some good successors: real detectives who do not hesitate for a second to go exploring in Technopolis.

Assignments for the 1th grade

The whole of the Children's Science Centre is your students' research area. There, in groups of two, they discover the different properties of materials.

What will you recieve?

  • 1 investigation sheet per 2 pupils

  • 1 instruction folder for teachers
    (We will provide you with this before your class visit).

  • 4 tactile boards, magnets and pencils
    (You return these after use.)

Not available from September to December 2024 due to renewal of the Children's Science Centre.

Assignments for the 2th grade

In groups of two or three, your students investigate one exhibition in our main exhibition and record all their findings. You may guess which exhibition it is about.

What will you recieve?

  • 1 research booklet and 3 stickers per pupil

  • 1 instruction folder for teachers
    (We will deliver this to you before your class visit.)

  • 1 teacher's instruction booklet, paperclips and pencils
    (Return these after use.)

Assignments for the 3th grade

In Technopolis, you never know in advance what your students are going to stick their noses into. Except with this research booklet! We selected 15 fascinating experiments from our main exhibition that your students simply have to try once. Each experiment involves a multiple-choice question.

What will you recieve?

  • 1 research booklet per pupil

  • 1 instruction folder for teachers
    (We will provide you with this before your class visit).

Adapted assignments for the 3th grade

Are your students less fluent in Dutch? Then we let them work in groups of two or three to find fun experiments. Their mission: to write down all their findings as best they can. Afterwards, it is up to their classmates to guess which experiment they investigated.

What will you recieve?

  • 2 research papers per group of pupils

  • 1 instruction sheet for teachers

  • 1 instruction folder for teachers
    (We will provide you with this before your visit.)
